River Studies: Georgeham Primary School

A few showers didn’t put us of our walk with Class 3 from Georgeham Primary School last Tuesday down at Watersmeet. We walked from Combe Park down to Lynmouth looking closely at the River, measuring the speed of the water at different sites and learning some keywords. We also looked at the changes along the rivers course as we walked down to the mouth.

The children also learnt about the 1952 Lynmouth flood disaster.

Check out the photos above.
