In today’s fluid job market people rarely have a long career with one organisation. But we are proud to say that three members of the North Devon National Trust team celebrated 20 years service this week. Congratulations to Julian Gurney (West Exmoor Lead Ranger), Justin Seedhouse (Torridge Lead Ranger) and Sandra Lewington (Business Support Coordinator).
It is a great achievement. It shows that the National Trust is home to people with enthusiasm and passion for the places and properties they look after. These three have built up a huge range of expertise and knowledge, becoming real experts in their respective locations. They have contributed to innovative and successful conservation work, involving volunteers and community groups, and have run some fascinating events.
Rob Joules, North Devon General Manager said, “Its been wonderful to celebrate the fantastic achievement of Justin, Sandra, and Julian who have all given 20 years’ service to the National Trust. Much has changed in the years since they started by their enthusiasm for the job and passion for the National Trust comes across as strong now as I’m sure it did all those years ago”
The only thing as impressive as their achievements is the oakleaf icing on that cake.
