We have an exciting opening for a Ranger based at Woolacombe. Part time annualised contract (1,235 hours per year). Approximatelty 3 days a week.
You will deliver practical conservation work to protect and enhance the conservation status of the property. With skills and experience in land, access and conservation management and working in a similar outdoor setting, you’ll be able to demonstrate a passion for nature, heritage and the outdoors.
You will engage with visitors to ensure they understand the value of your work. You will be an excellent team player, and help create a great place to work, sharing common goals. You will live and breathe our Ranger Service Promise, delivering exceptional customer service every time for everyone.
You will work safely, with risk assessments and compliance with safety procedures. You will look to reduce costs and improve efficiency with the resources available to you, identifying areas for improvement. You will also be able to identify areas for business growth and development opportunities at the property.
You’ll be able to demonstrate competence with machinery and equipment necessary for this role, and will have the relevant certificates required. A full UK driving licence is also required.
