Executive Ranger Stu Signing Off

Today being my last day at Woolacombe, has been spent litter picking with Petroc college and other members of the Woolacombe team. The college group consists of 10 students who have been volunteering with us for the past 2 years. They come to Woolacombe every other Friday and rotate between Gorse cutting, walling and litter picking all organised by Josh our academy ranger.
For the last 9 months I have been working as part of the Woolacombe team instead of my usual job as Ranger at Arlington Court. It has been a fantastic experience and opportunity I would recommend it to anyone who gets the chance. I have to thank the Arlington Team for letting me go and the North Devon Team for warmly welcoming me and making it such a life long memory.

  1. It was good working with you every Tuesday, sorry about the long walk to Pottington! Enjoy Arlington, best wishes from David (Executive Volunteer for treating gorse).
