Woolacombe’s Christmas Tree Festival

If you come to Woolacombe this weekend take time to visit St Sabinus Church to see the fantastic display of Christmas Trees provided and decorated by local business’s and organisations, a great community effort.

The National Trust were asked to provide one for outdoors so after a bit of brain storming Josh and Stuart and Jane from Petroc College came up with the idea to make a Gorse Christmas Tree. Josh worked hard to produce the tree and has the prickles to prove it! The rest of the team decorated it with the likes of pine cones, ivy, flowering gorse, holly and sheeps wool and our very own Father Christmas’s.

I hope you agree I think it looks fantastic. Happy Christmas!
