Traditional stone ditching and walking

12 volunteers spent the first week in July doing 3 days wall repair/reconstruction and 2 days walking the glorious hills and coast of Exmoor. The task was mending and rebuilding the ancient walls of West Ground on Countisbury, most of which are many centuries old.
The walling work was broken up by 2 days walking, one misty moor land walk from Brendon Two Gates to Countisbury via Glenthorne, the other from Countisbury to Hunters Inn on the south west coast path. We had a good week with some excellent walling repairs which should last many years.
Same again next year!
