National Trusts Beginners Running Group

I recently attended a one day Leadership in Running Fitness Course organised by England Athletics and kindly funded by Active Devon. The course now allows me to take out indiviuals and groups who are new to running or have not run for a long time.

The National Trust looks after some of the best coast and countryside in the country and what better way to immerse yourself in it than going for a jog – I love jogging along the beach and through the sand dunes at Woolacombe, so much so that I am starting up a new Beginners Running Group so that I can share this experience and at the same time maybe give participants some basic knowledge of running safely and more importantly the confidence to get out and run and benefit from all the health and fitness gains along the way.
