Maintenance of the coastal Path can sometimes have its perks!

Pictures show the work the Woolacombe team have been doing on repairs to the Coast path that they manage.  This section is between Rockham and Bull Point Lighthouse and shows a combination of the damage the rain has done to the surface of the paths as well as  the erosion that is caused through popularity usage (ware and tear) from the public.

The team installed half a dozen steps as well as laying down 5 tonnes of shillet just on this section alone.

Although It was a hard days graft digging and wheel barrowing stone, the location and weather and feedback from passing walkers, curious to see what we were doing, definitely made up for It.
