We had wonderful weather and a great turn out for our hands on art day with Tom Hyde (A local artist and sculpture) and the National Trust Rangers at Welcombe Mouth, as part of this years Welcombe open studios.
We had a great day and loads of children and grown ups got stuck in making this years driftwood sculpture, so I’d like to say a big thank you to every one who helped bring our Seahorse to life. We’ll hopefully see you next year for yet another beachy build.
This event which ran on the 10th,11th and 12th of August this year provides an opportunity for the general public to visit the studios of artists and designer makers in the beautiful village of Welcmbe on the North Devon coast. Including: Photography, art, pottery, textiles, furniture and accessories, poetry, art on the beach in conjunction with the National Trust and more…
