Well, according to the stats on that last post you liked the river footage? Here’s another video a bit further towards Lynmouth. By this time the Hoar Oak has joined the East Lyn and almost doubled the amount of water thundering towards the sea. It has been estimated that for every inch of rain on Exmoor, once the peat is sodden, the river will rise a foot. You may like to take a look at the web cam at Watersmeet which shows the river over the past 24 hours?
