Last Christmas we visited class five of Woolsery School, donated a tree and made willow decorations to adorn it with. It was great fun, not only for the children, but also for the adults. This year, the children let there imaginations run wild and created an array of Christmas decorations, all made out of recycled bottles, and to a Christmas soundtrack. There was Rudolph and his fellow reindeer, a whole family of penguins, snow men a go go and some awesome looking Santa’s, including Barbie and Pappa smurf Santa. It was a messy affair with glitter falling like snow flakes, crape paper crunching under foot and smiles all round. It couldn’t have felt more like Christmas. And, oh yes, yet again I think the adults had as much fun as the kids.
