Walling at Windy Woolacombe

For the past three  days full-time volunteers from the National Trust and the BTCV across Devon and Cornwall have been learning the art of drystone walling under the expert instruction of Jemma.  We offer a number of course during the autumn for volunteers so they can pick up some of the countryside skills needed to gain a career as a Warden.  Although dry the weather was very windy which made their task quite difficult, hence the use of goggles to keep the soil out of their eyes.
