Georgeham School Walling at Baggy Point

Yesterday children from years five and six were shown how to build a drystone wall on Baggy Point by Rob.  The kids got stuck in with great enthusiasm and almost completed a five metre stretch of wall.  Rob has been working closely with Georgeham School as part of the National Trust’s Guardianship scheme for a number of years.  Every year he takes a group up to do a section of wall and earlier in the year he had a large stone engraved and placed into the wall to celebrate all the help that Georgeham School kids have given rebuilding the wall.
